Today our culture is driven, more than ever, by marketers. We argue that we’re ALL marketers. We encourage all disciplines to join us as we lead change efforts in our organizations to make better products, services, and people.

Our Mission: To encourage like-minded connections, personal/professional development, and strength through community.

How We Live It: By hosting live events and offering peer forums that foster a strong sense of community through networking and honest conversations with marketers and leaders in the trenches. We stand out from other organizations by engaging truly authentic conversations. People don’t hold back, because they believe in sharing the “raw experience” – the good, the bad and the ugly – in the spirit of helping others on their journeys to become better marketers and better humans.

Meet Elyse

Elyse Ash is the founder and CEO of Fruitful Fertility whose mission is to make infertility suck less for the 1 in 8 couples affected by infertility and miscarriage. Elyse created Fruitful with her husband, Brad Ash after the couple experienced infertility themselves and were shocked by the loneliness and isolation of the experience. Today, Fruitful has over 4,000 users, is a member of two local accelerators (Beta.MN and Lunar Startups), was named a 2018 semifinalist in the Minnesota Cup, and has been covered by The Star Tribune, The Los Angeles Times, Twin Cities Business Magazine, MPR, WCCO, Inc., Business Insider, and many other publications.

Elyse began her career over 12 years ago as a copywriter at advertising agencies, making creative campaigns for both big brands and fledgling startups. Elyse is also a founding board member of MPR’s project Generation Listen, a Moth storytelling award winner, a 2019 “40 Under 40” honoree by the Minneapolis St. Paul Business Journal and a very grateful mom.

Meet Kathy

Kathy Robideau was promoted to market president and publisher of the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal in February 2016. Robideau led the Business Journal’s advertising team since 2010. Prior to that, she was a chief operating officer of Winter Park, Fla.-based Nurse Staffing. She is a member of the Itasca Project, Make-A-Wish Minnesota and serves on the Minneapolis Regional Chamber of Commerce board. She attended the University of Cincinnati and is a graduate of Capella University.

Meet Heidi

It all began at age 9 with a high-level daily news broadcast delivered to her audience of very attentive stuffed animals.

From there, the scripting, reporting and anchoring grew into 23 years in front of the camera at CBS, NBC & FOX affiliates and ultimately, her own show on CNN.  After countless breaking national news stories and even a 1:1, exclusive interview with a sitting U.S. President, Heidi was still destined for a business/marketing track.
That long-time storytelling turned out to be exactly what Corporate America was looking for and a new career of strategic communications, content strategy and editorial marketing came to fruition.
It was certainly not without struggle and some hardship along the way, but Heidi is now the proud owner of her own company of former professional TV journalists, called “Thomas & Edwards Group”.  A fitting name created with the middle names of her two sons—the greatest stories of her life.
